What We Believe

Our Statement of Faith

At New Life Church, everything we believe is grounded in the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ.

One God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe in one God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in purpose, power, and authority, united in creation and redemption. (Deut. 6:4; 2 Cor. 13:14; John 1:1)

Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man, born of the Virgin Mary, sinless in life, crucified for our sins, risen from the dead, and now reigning as King until His return. (1 Tim. 3:16; Luke 1:26–35; 1 Cor. 15:3–4)

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, guiding, comforting, and empowering us to live holy lives and share the gospel. (Rom. 8:16–17; John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8)

The Bible
We believe the Scriptures are God’s inspired and trustworthy Word—our final authority for faith and life. (2 Tim. 3:15–17; Heb. 4:12; 2 Peter 1:19–21)

Salvation by Grace Through Faith
We believe we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works, and that this salvation brings forgiveness, freedom, and eternal life. (Rom. 3:21–24; Eph. 2:8–9)

Sanctity of Life
We believe all human life, from conception to natural death, is sacred and created in God’s image. (Psalm 139:13–16; Gen. 1:27)

Marriage
We believe marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, established by God. (Gen. 2:22, 24; Matt. 19:5–6)

The Church
We believe in one true Church, expressed through local congregations, called to worship God, build up believers, and reach the world with the gospel. (Heb. 12:23; Eph. 4:11–16)

Second Coming of Christ
We believe Jesus will return, the dead will be raised, and God’s Kingdom will be fully established. (Acts 1:9–11; Rev. 22:1–7; Dan. 12:2)

Healing
We believe God heals today through prayer, the laying on of hands, and the gifts of the Spirit. (Isa. 53:5; James 5:14–16; Mark 16:17–18)
